Internet Free Phone has several postings for Vonage services. But, many of us Vonage users suffer from hanging wires, routers, ATAs, and sometimes a real VoIP rat’s nest. If you would like to put your phone system back in the utility closet where it belongs, here is some great information for you!

Remember, Vonage phone service requires a $24.99 per month fee. It is not and Internet Free Phone. But, if you already have Internet service, then this is not a bad way to get local and international VoIP services.

Run the Skype Setup application

A window will open asking what you want to do with a file called SkypeSetup.exe. Save this file to your desk top, then run this application.

Follow the Setup Application

When the download has finished, the Skype Setup Application will appear and guide you through the installation.

Launch Skype

After the installation has finished, you can launch Skype at any time by clicking the Skype icon on your desktop or from your programs files.

Choose a User Name 

Select a User Name that you will remember and one that your friends, family, and associates can relate to. 

Search a person by name 

Select the Search for Skype Users option on the Contacts menu or click Tools > Search for Skype Users. A new search window will open where you can search for friends by name, or any other information they have listed in their profile. 

Call your friends from your PC 

There are a couple ways to call a friend: Right click a Skype Name in your contact list or the search result and select Start Call

Or select a Skype Name and then click the big green call button at the bottom of the window.
